A few tips for keeping up with the house:
Putting in a load of laundry each morning before school starts, drying during a break and folding it at lunchtime will do alot towards keeping up with the laundry. (Did you know that LAUNDRY REPRODUCES ITSELF WHEN LEFT ALONE IN THE DARK? Good idea to "keep it on the move"!)
To keep the house manageable, focus on one room each day, having the kids do light touch-ups throughout the house, rather than cleaning every room, every day.
For yourself, you might want to assign a task for each day of the week:
Monday: baking Tuesday:ironing/mending Wednesday:bills Thursday:errands Friday: catch up on deep cleaning Saturday: yard work Sunday: REST!
On your Daily Planner, block out two or three hours for afternoon projects.
Keeping up with a plan is a constant challenge, but the reality is....
"Without a plan, the urgent will always supercede the important!"
You know how it is....the unexpected happens, and "Off we go!" forgetting all about what we'd planned to do! Now, we can reschedule it for another day. Noting it on paper clears the mind of unnecessary clutter, allowing us to be more creative and purposeful in life.

Keep the Planner (Home Organizer) close at hand and jot things down as they come to mind. On Sunday night, organize the week, or each night plan for the next day, according to what's on the Master Sheet.
Without a system of organization, it's hard to keep track of what to do, where to go, or when! Too many irons in the fire makes life unmanageable!
Have you ever been on the road without appropriate directions, wishing you had that slip of paper on the counter? (Note directions/appointment times in your planner when making the appointment, then take the planner with you in the car. While you're wait, catch up on grocery lists, party planning, thank you notes, etc.)
Phone calls, appointments, events (and everything else) can be noted on the weekly or monthly calendars. Grocery lists, gift lists, and errands to run while you're out saves valuable TIME and GAS!
For the family you'll find the Emergency Release Form (permission slip), Babysitter Instructions, Home Alone Instructions, Chores, Budgeting, Holiday Planning, Documents, Warranties, and so much MORE! Each form is reproducible so you can design the personal planner best suited to your personal style and needs.
Keep your notebook on the kitchen counter, open and ready to use. When something comes to mind (and you're in the middle of another project) jot it down and deal with it later. No need to stress about forgetting!
Time to go? Just grab your planner and head out the door!
If this sounds good, see it in the HOME ORGANIZER section.
